2008/2009 WINTER CLASSES

DRAWING CLASS:
Focuses on teaching classical drawing basics such as composition,
perspective, color, and shading. Includes demonstrations of techniques in pastel, charcoal, pencil, India ink, Prismacolor and mixed mediums. All supplies included.


ADVANCED STUDIO CLASS:
Ongoing class for new and continuing students who choose
their individual areas of interest - faces, still life, animals, landscape - and pursue them in depth. All supplies included.
*PREREQUISITE: Minimum of 2 full years of drawing classes or portfolio review.


FACES CLASS:
This class is concurrent with the Advanced Studio Class. Students will do self
portraits and also pose for each other while learning how to draw faces in profile, full face and three-quarter view. Strong emphasis on learning techniques for features, hair and shading. All supplies included.
*PREREQUISITE: Minimum of 2 full years of drawing classes or portfolio review.


OIL PAINTING CLASS:
Ongoing class for new and continuing students who learn classic oil painting techniques and work independently on subject matter of their choice. Supplies not included for this class only.
